MODERN 60’S
The interpretation of a modern 60’s beauty on show back in 2012 for Louis Vuitton’s SP 2013 RTW collection looked fresh and polished - a true homage yet lighter and softer for the 21st century. I adore it as a bridal beauty reference as it has remained, and will remain, generally timeless in appeal and style with minor twists and adaptations as beauty trends ebb and flow.
The essence - thick fluttery eyelashes, bold liner, strong brows and muted lips - are pretty, ladylike and work on almost anyone. It’s impactful and endlessly chic whilst still looking relevant for 2022.
The side swept fringe gathered into a classic beehive is a striking style statement which can be hugely flattering, however if such an obvious 60’s vibe is not desired a pared back version, back combed chignon or messy bun could be alternative options.
