In addition to being a designer and stylist with a true lifelong love of style and beauty, Elaine - the creator of The B / W Journal - is a trained coach, running a coaching and consultancy service in tandem to her work here on this platform of modern bridal fashion. Her coaching focuses on wellness, incorporating styling as part of a bespoke Inner / Outer method hence the distinct cross over of both her passions and work. Her work has led her to believe there is value to some form of pre-marriage conversation where brides, grooms or couples can create clarity around, and hopes for, their marriage prior to tying the knot. Sharing and aligning values and expectations, ambitions and goals and deepening their appreciation of, and love towards, each other is the perfect foundation for starting married life in sync resulting in deeper connection for this next stage.
NOTE : This is NOT marriage counselling or any kind of therapy. The coaching process is created around compassion, positivity and successful future outcomes, a place to share emotions and dreams for married life PRIOR to the ceremony, meaning deeper, valuable and authentic connections for sustained marital bliss.
