HAND CRAFTED TIARAS
Jewelled Tiaras have seemed a tad old school - dare I say old fashioned - of late, replaced by headbands, clips and flowers as the headwear of choice for modern, style conscious brides. Such brides have been favouring a more relaxed, fashionable approach to their wedding attire and classic tiaras have felt too formal and at odds with the move away from the princess bride (ballgown and tiara) of old.
However, Dior may be heralding the tiara comeback, albeit in a very contemporary and high fashion iteration. The creative artisans the fashion house is known for have been busy constructing hand crafted straw headpieces inspired by nature - note flowers, ferns, buds, sea shells and star fish interwoven and shaped into bold and beautiful tiaras.
Stunning in soft straw gold they would also look striking in tones of ivory, whites, washed pastels or delicate silver. And not only for the bride - bridesmaids of all ages could echo the theme in all manner of colour ways. Exceptional on the big day and forever after.
