White, ivory, cream, off-white - all synonyms with weddings and in most cases playing the starring role in the colour scheme for the bride. It is common to introduce colours when designing the floral styling which can be stunning but misses the purity and lightness white flowers bring to the bridal party, venue and overall ambiance and setting.
There are so many incredible white options - minute Lily of the Valley, ruffle headed Carnations, puffy Hydrangeas, sculptural Orchids and velvety Roses - all which make outstanding wedding flowers. Style with coloured ribbon (black can be divine) for interest if all white is too stark, or stick with white shades for considered, angelic minimalism.
